Wildlife Photography Using Trail Cameras

If you enjoy nature and the little (and sometimes not so little) creatures that live in it - wildlife photography can be an extremely rewarding pastime. Often times though, finding and viewing animals in their natural environments can prove frustrating and extremely time consuming. Since animals are generally very sensitive to minute changes in their environment - getting close enough to observe animals, let alone photograph them - can prove challenging even for the stealthier among us. Some animals are so afraid of humans that it's nearly impossible to photograph them up close.
For wildlife enthusiasts - trail or game cameras provide an excellent way to document and view animals, especially the shy or rarely seen. These cameras generally work using infrared flash technology to create a undetectable flash which still allows you to take perfect photos even in very low, or no light conditions! This not only provides a safer way to view some species (bobcats, ocelots and mountain lions to name a few), it also allows us to view the animals without disturbing them or their natural behavior and environment - which, for the most conscientious wildlife watchers is a must!

The Best Guitar Tonewood

What is the best guitar tonewood? Well, that's a little like asking about the best flavor of ice cream. Even guitars which are mass-produced can still be unique in each individual instrument, and often the type of wood, even the particular piece of tonewood used in its creation can make a difference and add various flavors to the sound. Let's look at some of the types of tonewood used to make guitars and examine their benefits and attributes. Each one may be the "best" depending on the sound you are looking for.
Alder
Alder wood is very light and has small pores, which makes it tend towards greater resonance in the tone, and excellent high-end characteristics. When used in solid body guitars, Alder tonewood produces solid midrange and good low end. If you are looking for a highly resonant tonewood that will also make for a very light guitar, Alder is a good choice.

How To Find The Name of a Song From a TV Commercial

With the slow death of commercial radio over the last few years, one manner that people hear new music is by way of the TV commercial. If I sit in front of the TV, and happen to catch a couple of commercials, at some point I'll find myself saying, "What song is that? I like it."
So How Do You Find Out What Song It Is?
First of all, make note of the details of what you see and hear. What company is the ad for? What product? Are there any lyrics to the song? Remember, these details before you break out your favorite search engine.
Here is an example. I have this song in my head so I'll use it. A couple of years ago, I happened to catch part of an ad for the TV show Gossip Girl. There wasn't much to the ads really, just a bunch of random quick shots. But, there was a line in the song that I caught: "I'm the only sour cherry on your fruit stand."
